LAST NIGHT

Best concert ever. It's up there with Eric Clapton.

Kevin Devine was incredibly enjoyable and had an impeccable performance.
Manchester Orchestra!! Andy Hull is wonderful on recordings, but live, holy shit, he gave me the chills. When they played 'I Can Barely Breathe' there were goosebumps on my whole body. When Andy sang out the line "it's the end of the world" I felt his voice in my soul. Mind you, I was stone cold sober. They played 'Where Have You Been?' and Kevin Devine came out to sing on it. It made me happy :D
Unfortunately I missed Vinnie Caruana's solo set in the lower lobby of the coliseum ]: However, when I was down there I spotted Kenny Vasoli formerly from The Starting Line, currently from Person L. I was too pussy to go up to him though, and I've been kicking myself for that.
Glassjaw's performance was just fucking fantastic. 'Ape Dos Mil' and 'You Think You're Fucking John Lennon' were some of the best parts of the night.
And Brand New. Brand New...Damn. Shit was amazing. It was so refreshing during the slow songs that people were waving lighters again instead of cellphones. I cried a bit during 'Jesus Christ.' They could have played more from Deja Entendu or Your Favourite Weapon (although they don't play those anymore). But for the hometown show they broke out 'Seventy Times 7.' It was the best way to end it, all out rocking out to a Brand New classic. Epic.
