I took a little road trip with Celine and her parents. The first stop was the University of Connecticut. We were on winding roads in the middle of the country, then it opens up and you can see the Agricultural School and the cows. A bit down the road and you start to see the city that is UConn. They have everything there, it's insane. It's own power company, pharmacy, hair salon, everything you'd ever need. The tour was very well organised and informative. A+ for UConn tour people. I like the atmosphere of the campus and how everything is there for the students. Also, all the stores and such are very cheap which would be helpful as a student. After the tour and a stop for ice cream (that was completely made on campus, including milking the cow) we headed up to Boston.

We spent that night in a hotel in Boston. Me and Celine had our own room. It was so much fun. We made a tent in our room (haha of course we would), and had family time! The next morning we went to BU. There was not a tour, but they did have a half hour presentation. The lady giving the presentation was horrible, very unorganised and not skilled in public speaking at all. Of what I saw of the campus was very nice, although I'm pretty sure it spans across the whole city which is a problem. Boston itself is gorgeous. I went there once when I was 7, but didn't get to see much of the city. You can immediately tell that it is a historic city. Oh my, the architecture! THE ARCHITECTURE! If I could have a beautiful love affair with it, I would. When we were looking for a place to eat for dinner we passed by a bar called Bukowski! It was so awesome. It would be absolutely perfect if there was an OTB right next store.
After we toured BU, we traveled a few miles outside the city to the suburbs, where Tufts is located. It was so beautiful. A small, New England campus on top of a hill. But there is no way I would get in, so I should stop breaking my own heart and not think about it.
On the ride home something interesting happened. We were on the highway in the left lane, going 70 mph and all of a sudden Celine's dad slams on the breaks. Then I see cushions flying in the road...and then a sofa. A couple of cars ahead of us a sofa fell off the back of a car. We were almost killed by a sofa. That would have made for some interesting obituaries...
