Throwing punches at [the pouring rain]

Tonight was awesome but a bit disappointing. I got very close to the front though! Obviously Envy on the Coast was incredible but the crowd was really dead. Ryan's stage presence has really changed over the years. The first time I saw them 2 years ago he was so down to earth and guy next store. But when I saw them last summer he had changed a lot, very animalistic on stage and a bit pretentious. I think it was the dreads. I first saw the dreads at 07 Warped, they were new then and he still seemed normal. I think what he's smoking is laced with something because he is always like on a trip on stage. And Michelle, who had VIP, was standing next to Ryan after their set blazing. GRRRRR she was so lucky! I totally would have asked for a hit and probably would have gone the groupie band aid route.

Underoath was pretty good. Their set seemed too long, but that's because I don't listen to them besides one song, "Too Bright to See, Too Loud to Hear," (which they didn't play! ]: I love it so).
Taking Back Sunday was amazing, although they played too many songs from 'New Again.' When they played an encore, they got to my favourite TBS song, "Timberwolves at New Jersey," Ryan came out on stage again to sing for a bit. It made me love it even more. The crowd surfers really pissed me off though. Since we were in the front we had everyone pass up. All the fat people seemed to be drawn to me. Fat chicks and fat dudes everywhere. At one point a big guy's ass was in my face. It was cheek, face, cheek. Another time I was unexpectantly hit on top of my head with some girl's foot. It hurt a lot and kind of disoriented me for a couple of seconds.
Right after it ended the house played "Stayin' Alive" and me and Jenny strutted and just had a ball in the rain.

Epically awesome night.
