And to this day

I still get upset.

It's LEADD week at my school (Levittown Education Against Destructive Decisions), and today I attended a driving assembly, one I had seen the previous year. The whole thing is a retired cop going on this long shpeel about all the people he knows who have died in automobile accidents. I teared up a bit last year because he gets very intense. At one point he was begging for us to all to promise to be safe, that we should not just think about how everything affects us but our parents too. He said that we are our parents' entire lives. It was so hard to hear. I teared up there, trying desperately to keep my composure. It is so difficult to hear that. DID HE JUST FORGET HE HAS A CHILD? I don't understand one bit of it. I just want to know that there is a male in this world that can love me. I just a daddy.
